The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction within our Food & Beverage department, incorporating Bar & Restaurant, Conference & Events and Room Service. Your responsibilities will include:
Co-ordinating and directing employees to ensure the delivery of excellent customer service within all areas. Maximising sales and assisting the manager in controlling the food and beverage budget, in relation to occupancy, departmental expenses and staff rotas.
Ensuring that all the administration, cash control, stock control and security procedures are adhered to by self and team members.
Assisting in managing the teams effectively with regards to, staff training, rotas and staff development.
You will stand out if you can deal effectively with people from different cultures, levels and backgrounds ;Are able to work as part of a team as well as successfully train, guide and supervise the members in your team;
Are striving to build an excellent leadership technique as well as your knowledge for business and management principles;

Key tasks

You assist the Restaurant Manager in all their tasks. In addition, you are responsible for the organisation and the quality of services offered to the customers at the different eating areas. You optimise and develop the sales of eating areas. You coordinate and supervise the different teams in the department and monitor stock management. You participate in the elaboration of the hotel's sales and marketing plan. You put together the department's budget. You integrate, train and lead the restaurant team. You initiate new projects and oversee their implementation and results.
