The Opportunity 

This position is responsible for assisting in the management of all Recruitment, Talent, Training and Development activities ensuring they meet the operational needs of the Hotel, whilst falling within the guidelines of Accor Hotel’s Talent & Culture Policies and Initiatives. In addition, coordinate the Talent & Culture (T&C) function and all its facets for the Hotel.

Job Description

Your Time Will Be Valued

  • Recruitment, Selection and Retention – oversee frontline talent acquisition to meet staffing needs of hotels following hotel and company guidelines;
  • Culture and Engagement – initiate and drive a positive culture representing Talent & Culture and the Hotel;
  • Talent and Development – coordinate with the T&C Manager to retain, develop and motivate people to achieve their fullest potential;
  • Compensation and Benefits – assist with Reward and Recognition programs implementation, administration and ongoing success;
  • Industrial Relations – assist the T&C Manager in developing and maintaining a stable working environment following the guidelines outlined in the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards and Industry Awards, where applicable;
  • Talent and Culture Metrics – prepare reports and complete checklists as required;
  • General Talent and Culture Duties – provide on-going support to colleagues on T&C related matters, policies and procedures;
  • Financial Performance – consider the financial impact on Accor for T&C activities and commitments;
  • Accor Representation – take every opportunity to be an Accor advocate by actively promoting special offers, services and facilities available within Accor;
  • Guest Relations and Heartist – support and value the contributions of all colleagues, creating trust and empowering our people;
  • Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) – ensure health, safety and welfare of all team members is provided through implementation of Accor Health and Safety initiatives and assist in the effective operation of the WH&S Committee.

Qualifications

  • Ability to adapt communication style and build relationships within the Hotel;
  • Ability to engage well with others, display empathy and maintain confidentiality;
  • Have the drive, discipline and resourcefulness to work independently;
  • Be able to multi-task and prioritse your workload whilst maintaining a positive attitude;
  • Representing the values of the Company at all time.
  • Qualification in Human Resources, Business or similar;
  • Sound knowledge of HR processes, including some IR legislation
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office
